Family Promise Meeting
Family Promise is a nation-wide organization that houses homeless families. Their mission states, “To help families experiencing homelessness, and low-income families, achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.” Family Promise is looking to expand to Rutherford County, and Bethel is in discerning if we are going to be a host church. Being a host church involves housing 4-5 families for a week four times a year (one week, once a quarter).
On Sunday, November 10, we will have a church-wide meeting to decide if we will be a host church. Below are resources that provide more information about the program, and what it means to be a host church.
If you have any questions, please contact the Church Office for more information.
